Skyline Exhibits, Inc. launched its new WindScape™ trade show solution via a globally-broadcast event July 10th, 2013. After months of speculation about the new product, and no small amount of mysterious build-up on the part of Skyline’s marketing team, the product lived up to the hype! Thousands of online participants watched as an installation of this new display product was demonstrated live. Touted as the world’s first air-powered trade show display system, WindScape™ features everything from backwalls to towers and hanging signs to conference rooms. The applications will not end with trade shows.
As a critical (some might say cynical) New York marketer, I wasn’t sure what to expect, especially after the high-powered build up. But as the full system options were unveiled, I began to see the possibilities. Trade show exhibitors currently struggle with the ever-rising ancillary user costs of exhibiting - freight, drayage, I&D, etc. A system that minimizes and potentially eliminates any of these costs is a winner! The ability to inexpensively transport the components and install them in a fraction of the time will translate into tremendous benefits to both new and existing exhibitors.
And kudos to Skyline Exhibits for rolling out a product with such robust options right away. We can only imagine what the system will look like a year from now as accessories are added and trade show exhibit designers have time to digest all the possibilities.
